Hello there! My name is Gioele, I was born in 1999 and therefore I am one of the youngest guides in Italy. Growing up in the province of Turin, I started taking my first steps on rocks when I was very young, which created a serious chronic illness for climbing. Although I had already been a few times at 4000 meters before turning 10, the love for the high mountains came later. You know how it is, when you are young you are shy with feelings …
The ever-growing passion led me to explore the Alps, from Monte Rosa to the Dolomites, and the Rocky Mountains, from Devil's Tower to Grand Teton and Yosemite. Step by step I found myself in 2018 to undertake the path to become Aspiring Alpine Guide, a title I achieved at the beginning of 2021. I am always enthusiastic for any adventure, whether it is with skis, with shoes or crampons.
I like to go to the mountains to share emotions with the people I rope with, get to know their essence and listen to their silence. I strongly believe in the relationships that the mountain creates and in the teachings it leaves.
Never tired of knowing, I study geology at the University of Turin.
