Carestia mountain hut nestled in the valley of Rissuolo, in the beautiful Valle Vogna, on the road to Corno Bianco, the Carestia was founded in 1995 substituting a previous refuge that has become too dangerous to be used. It is dedicated to Antonio Carestia from Riva, a botanist-Alpinist, famous world-wide, who was very fond of this valley.
