A circular route that offers a unique and immersive experience between two of the most spectacular peaks of the Monte Rosa.
The Polluce-Castore traverse represents a challenge for mountain lovers, leading them to discover varied terrains and breathtaking views. This route introduces alpinists to a high-level adventure and is one of the main stages of the Spaghetti Tour. The starting point is the Ayas Guides' Hut, a welcoming base at the foot of the magnificent Breithorn, that can be reached in just over three hours from Champoluc.

– 5 layers of clothing for the upper body (thermal shirt, light fleece, heavy fleece, down jacket, anorak.)

ATTENTION: The sleeping bag liner is mandatory in all shelters. We recommend a lightweight but, above all, reusable sleeping bag liner. Let’s protect the mountains from waste. We use this one.
