Home / Experiences / Going for a drive in the Sesia valley
If the particular morphology of this valley on one hand, has penalized its people ( forcing them to emigrate), on the other it has allowed its hamlets and villages to remain practically intact. The three valleys of Sesia, offer beauty and wealth which surprises the one who ventures along its narrow, winding roads on a quest to discover these places concealed by the mountains. Val Mastellone, Val Sermenza or Valpitta and Val Grande each have their own, clearly distinct characteristics but with a common denominator: deeply-rooted traditions, landscapes suspended in time, enduring signs of an artistic ferment and the Alta Valsesia Natural Park which includes the three valley heads.
