Get Ready to Conquer the Peaks of Monte Rosa with Us!
Do you dream of reaching spectacular summits and tackling your first 4000-meter peak, but have some doubts? Have you set your sights on Capanna Margherita, but don’t feel quite ready yet?

We will help you prepare physically, with the goal of handling 350 meters of positive elevation gain in one hour, and we’ll teach you how to manage altitude.

We believe that training in a group is more motivating and enjoyable. Our Training for 4000 program is suitable for everyone and includes ascents with elevation gains between 800 and 1500 meters. Our experienced alpine guides will be by your side to teach you, motivate you, provide technical advice, and share their expertise. Each training day, during the summit coaching, you’ll be able to assess your progress and receive personalized tips for further improvement.

We will guide you step by step toward conquering the 4000-meter peaks of Monte Rosa. Being physically prepared and having tested your technical gear are the first steps to a successful climb.

Program

Sunday, April 6: Res or Bec d’Ovaga 1631m – Varallo (VC)

Total elevation gain: 1200m – Duration: 4 hours – Maximum altitude: 1631m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Varallo. The itinerary is easy but offers extraordinary views. From the summit, you can admire the entire Valsesia and the southeast face of Monte Rosa, along with the peaks of Alphubel and Stralhorn. In the distance, you’ll also see the Leone, Adamello, and the lakes of Orta, Maggiore, and Varese. It’s a route that brings emotions and beauty with every step.

Sunday, April 13: Pizzo Marona 2050m – Miazzina (VB)

Total elevation gain: 1100m – Duration: 4 hours – Maximum altitude: 2050m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Fondotoce. The route, never mundane, winds along the eastern slope of the Pizzo, crossing grassy and airy slopes with equipped sections. During the hike, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore.

Sunday, April 20: Monte Barone 2040m

Total elevation gain: 1100m – Duration: approximately 5 hours. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Coggiola (BI), località le Piane. Monte Barone in Coggiola is the symbolic peak of Valsessera and one of the most appreciated in the Biellese Alps. It offers an extraordinary panorama, ranging from the Biellese Alps to Monte Rosa, with stunning views of Punta Castore and Breithorn.

Sunday, May 4: Colle della Vecchia 2187m – Piedicavallo

Total elevation gain: 1150m – Duration: approximately 5 hours – Maximum altitude: 2187m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Piedicavallo A beautiful and comfortable route that winds along the left bank of the Cervo River, traversing the entire valley along the beautiful ancient mule track connecting Piedicavallo with Gaby in the Gressoney Valley. This stretch, known for being part of the Tor des Géants, is a perfect ascent for our training.

Sunday, May 11: Punta Chaligne 2608m

Total elevation gain: 1068m – Duration: approximately 5 hours – Maximum altitude: 2608m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Gignod, fr Bhutier (Aosta). Spectacular 360° views of the Gran San Bernardo Valley, Velan, Gran Combin, Gran Paradiso, Mont Gele, Monte Rosa, Emilius, Val Pelline, and many other peaks.

Sunday, May 18: Herin Mines to Mont-Lyan

Total elevation gain: 1100m – Duration: approximately 5 hours – Maximum altitude: 2482m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Champdepraz. Training with a dual purpose: to improve endurance and admire the remains of the chalcopyrite mine, exploited since the 18th century for copper extraction. A panoramic path leads to the summit of Barbeston, at 2482m, crossing an easy ridge. The descent towards Col di Valmeriana (2281m) offers a spectacular view of the Aosta Valley.

Sunday, May 25: Monte Avic 3006m

Total elevation gain: 1750m – Duration: approximately 5 hours – Maximum altitude: 3006m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Cheverere. Monte Avic is the sharp peak that dominates the eponymous Natural Park, easily visible from the lower Val d’Ayas. The route winds along a long stretch of scree and ends with a beautiful ridge that is not difficult, featuring some sections of grade II rock (partly equipped). From the summit, the panorama is vast, stretching over Canavese and the Po Valley.

Sunday, June 1: Crossing the Oasi Zegna

Total elevation gain: approximately 900m – Length: about 15 km – Duration: approximately 6 hours. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Stavello. A traverse of the Oasi Zegna with stunning views of Monte Rosa and the Biellese plain. The long undulating itinerary includes a section of equipped trail to reach Roccia dell’Argimonia.

Sunday, June 8: Fadehorn from Pecetto 2475m – Macugnaga

Total elevation gain: 1100m – Duration: approximately 3.5 hours – Maximum altitude: 2474m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Pecetto di Macugnaga. An itinerary in the Anzasca Valley, beneath the eastern face of Monte Rosa. Departure from Macugnaga (1327m), heading towards Alpe Hinderbalmo (1530m). We will continue through meadows until almost below the summit, where the trail becomes an easy rocky ridge leading to the summit cross at 2474 meters.

Sunday, June 15: Monte Moro 2853m – Macugnaga

Total elevation gain: 1500m – Duration: approximately 5 hours – Maximum altitude: 2853m. Meeting at 8:00 AM, departure at 8:30 AM from Pecetto di Macugnaga. A classic itinerary from Macugnaga. Departure from Staffa (1327m) along an easy trail through the ski slopes until reaching the snow, with the magnificent eastern face of Monte Rosa as the skyline. Once we reach the snow, we will use crampons and ropes to safely ascend to Passo del Monte Moro (2853m) to start getting familiar with mountaineering equipment.
